Corcoran Minneapolis

Corcoran Minneapolis is a diverse and active neighborhood in the heart of South Minneapolis. Predominantly residential, the neighborhood has great connections to downtown via the Hiawatha LRT and Hiawatha Avenue as well as to other parts of South Minneapolis via Lake Street and the Midtown Greenway. Lake Street is Corcoran’s main commercial area and the Midtown Farmers’ Market, a project of the Corcoran Neighborhood Organization (CNO), brings the all-local food and goods of 70+ farmers and vendors to 40,000 people each year. Corcoran Park provides neighborhood residents with a recreation center, wading pool, playground, volley ball court, and playing fields. Neighborhood murals are becoming new landmarks in the Corcoran and a map of them can be found here.
